I’m not a fan of systems where you can hit a 20-1 winner but have losing runs of 15! You’ll never see your betting bank take a nosedive with this type of system, so if you’re risk averse like me there won’t be moments of cold sweats. I know this kind of approach doesn’t excite some people, but I bet to make money, not for the ‘thrill’ of it. If you do want to add a greater element of risk and reward to it, you can use the same selection system and bet each way rather than to place.
